| Originally from Central New York, Susan spent two years in Boston after graduating with a BFA in Fine Art and a minor in theatre from Alfred University. In Massachusetts she had the pleasure of studying at The Lyric Stage under Spiro Veloudos, and at the acclaimed Improv Asylum. After Boston, she came to New York City where she has remained. Here she has trained at The Ensemble Studio Theatre (where she also performed), The Atlantic Theatre, Chicago City Limits and The Upright Citizen's Brigade - as well as with various other industry professionals for voice, improv and movement. She is proud to be an ensemble member of the Manhattan Comedy Collective and has also written and directed here in the city. Some of her favorite roles include Elvira in Blithe Spirit; A.E. (Angry Employee) in Galaxy Video and Galaxy Video 2; and Always-Been-Curious Woman in the multiple award-winning short, Target Audience, which was licensed by the Showtime Networks. Susan has had the good fortune of working in theatre, film, television, commercials, voiceover, industrials, the web and is now a contributor to the Back Stage weblog, Unscripted. A special thanks goes out to Mark Austin Spencer, Mitch Butler and Dan Neuburger. |
